new years eve

So it's New Years Eve, and as crazy as it sounds I am going to be having a very chill night. AND I am not complaining:) I'm excited to just put some sweats on, play some games, watch some movies, and countdown until midnight.

I wonder what 2011 will bring me. Its kind of scary and exciting at the same time. Not knowing what will happen.  If anything will change for better or for worse. The thrill of not knowing what this year is gonna bring.
I'm excited to see whats in store for me in 2011:)

my late christmas post

Me being super busy and all during the Christmas season I didn't even have time to blog! Nothing really much to say except for the fact that I had a really really good Christmas! I got to see a lot of  my family and my boyfriends family, I tried a lot of different cuisine. (who woulda thought that my new favorite fruit would be dragon fruit?!?!)

To top it off, Santa was very good to me, and same with Evan. I was very spoiled this Christmas.

you little focker...

So...after a night of work, my work had a christmas screening that contained of pizza, "make your own" sundaes and the movie little focker...okay so close friends do know that I absolutely cannot stand Ben Stiller. and I havent even seen the other movies that go along with this one, but I decided to stay and watch it. UGH it was dreadful, it was like sitting in an opera and not knowing the story line. except it was worse than that everytime he talked...I was getting so annoyed that I couldnt sit still. It was so bad that everyone would laugh at the `funny parts` and I would just sit there so frustrated that people beside me (more like Evan) was like `can you just laugh a little`NOPE. I will not waste my laughter on an awful movie with the awful Ben Stiller. I am sorry if this is defensive for all those Ben Stiller lovers out there:) just my own opinion:). And Ben Stiller, if you are reading, I am sorry for making fun of you, but you are not funny. AT ALL. anywhoooooo I am very excited for the days ahead:) wooo Santa is coming:):)

Also I would like to say thankyou to Sarah Ab for being really nice and giving me the Burlesque poster that I was wanting:) I hope Santa gives you everything you asked for:)anywhooo, I love life, even with my annoyances of school and w.e else seems to stress me out these days.

I am home from my little vacay to Dryden. It was a nice 3 night weekend, and I got to spend it all with family that I don't get to see very often. I am so grateful for the family that I have in my life and I am so grateful that I was able to spend some quality Christmas family time with all of them:) Hope everyone had a great weekend.

dont you love the feeling when you wake up and your like "ughh i dont wanna go to schoool" and then you lay there in your bed dreading to get up and then you realise "woah wait I dont have school, wanna know why?!?! its christmas holidayss" BEST FEEELING EVERRRR.....its like this huge load of books and such came off of my shoulders...feels amazing. cannot wait for whats in store for my holidays:) christmas partiesss, family in town..going to see family... .music ...games... girlsnightss... friends.... boyfriends... .mistletoe.... candycanes ....christmas lights....snow...skiing... sledding.. woooo! I am just gonna soak it alll in:) that is the plan. I am very grateful for all the people that I will get to be surrounded by this holiday season:) cannot wait.

on the 12th day of christmassssssssss

This weekend was amazing for me..well saturday was..until the migraine came but before that it was peachy. Vanessa is now 20 years old, and it was a fun night. As I was dancing with the girls, I looked at jessica ( my bff) and got all corny.. it was like one of those things that happends in the movies where the actor goes in this transe and has all these memories about that person etc. etc. and then they get back into life and they were like woah. That person is amazing. Well I had that moment. Jessica and me have been friends since i believe we were 15 years old. We were one of those girls who when you hangout for the first time its not awkward and we just kinda clicked instantly. We became very very close for a long time. BUT Then.. we faded apart for a while too, she got a boyfriend I made new friends and it just kinda happened that way. Ya we still were friends, and ya i still considered her one of my good friends, but we just never hungout as much as we used..like barely at all. But then all of a sudden we have become best friends all over again, and it was like we never even faded apart. She has been amazing, she has been there for me through so much BS that has gone on in my life in the past 6 months, that I dont know what I would have done without her. We have become closer than we have ever gotten and I wouldnt change a thing. Me and her are so much a like and we have the same sensitivities and I think thats why we click so well. She is talented, sincere, caring, and loving. When your sad she will legit make you smile in a second by her saying something really silly that it just makes you laugh or by  just being in the room she can just make you smile. I wouldnt change anything about her! Jessica I know you will evertually read this and I hope it doesnt embarrass you. You should be flattered:) I love you girly, and I am so glad that we are best friends, and I would do anything for you, and dont forget that! love love love.

what did i do christmasy/wintery yesterday.... a dougal media Christmas party is what i did! it was a good ol' turkey time! everyone dressed there best and ate all they could eat,, there was this dessert that looked like strawberries and whipped cream so me and Jessica start eating it and we were like "wow this is goood" UNTIL our friend was like that's rice pudding..and then all of a sudden it ain't no good anymore...Isn't that crazy that once you know what something is, it changes the whole way you see things/taste things..!!! i was so grossed out that i basically jugged a glass of good ol' H2O..  OKAY. so you know when you wear a nice pair of heels and then like an hour later your feet start getting sore because you have awful support on the soles of your feet so then you kick off your heels and the feeling of your feet just letting loose is the most INCREDIBLE DESIRABLE FEELING IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD?!! i experienced that last night.. just sayin.. Today i was supposed to go to vanderwees today but its now a no go and I'm upset about it. so now i have no idea what I'm gonna do for my wintery/christmasy activity. but I'm sure ill do something WONDEROUS. because you know,, its the most wonderful time of the yeaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!anywayy

Blahhhhhhhh. so today i had school and then i worked til 12. So im sure EVERYONE is thinking what did you do wintery/christmasy if you worked and had school. sadly I didnt do anything wintery/christmasy....UNTILLLLLL I drove home from work and put on good ol' Amy Grant Christmas and belted to myself in my car to some jingle bell rock. It was MARVELOUS!. 22 days left!:) everyday i get more and more excited:):) its like easter. when you have an easter egg hunt and you get excited cause you found a clue and then you keep finding clues and you keep getting more and more chocolate eggs. and so every time you find a clue you get more and more excited to find another one so you can collect more chocolate eggs than everyone else so you can collect more prizes:). ANYWHOO its not easter. I watched another episode of ellens 12 days of giveways and youll never guess what happened??! okay so I recorded it on my pvr, so as im watching i decide im a little parched so i grab myself some iced tea, but as i got up my thigh pressed a button which turned it onto live tv mode....BUT heres the catch...ellen wasnt actually done yet on live tv it was at the part where she gave the gifts away. and so im like ahhh i cant watch that yet im not at that part so then i went back to my pvr mode. and guess what!??! THAT PART DIDNT RECORD..oooh the madness! so basically i watched all the way up to where she was gonna show the first gift and it ended... it was awful. so i have noidea what she gave out today. BOOOOO. anywhoo i type way too much for the little things im gonna say., so sorry.  for now on enough of this babbling on for no reason.:). I'm hanging out with the bestie allll day tomorrow and night. what a treat eh!? hehee anywhoo

23 DAYS LEFT. Alright. So. As i stated in my post  before that I will be doing something christmasy/wintery every day. Well I must keep up with what i say! sooo here it issss. Tonight me and a couple of my close girls watched the movie Santa Clause, you know, the movie with Tim Allen, and all the hideous outfits because it was made soooo long ago, that it was on VHS and i so happen to have it on DVD because my fam jam bought it for me again one year cause it came out on DVD and I'm spoiled so I got it!!!!! Jealous eh? I love that movie its a good one that's for sure, just a hoot! Hopefully tomorrow ill be able to do something wintery/christmasy cause i have school and then i work til 12 so i don't know if ill be able to fit it in....HHAHAHAH. who am i kiddin, I'll totes fit it in... HA. I ate a candy cane today, but c'mon! who didn't! there everywhere you go! people even give them out for free! its like your getting a lil Christmas gift everyday. its bazaar. I guess not everywhere, but like around the mall and stuff people do. or if you donate money or something you get one. so i mean its like a trade jeeze ANYWHOOOO sheeesh its like i can talk about candy canes all day.,.. I even wore candy cane earrings today:) just full of the candy cane spirit!! I kinda just thought of something. Thunder Bay should nominate a holiday cheer mister!!! I WOULD LOVEEEE TO BE A HOLIDAY CHEER MISTER!(if everyone is confused about this whole holiday cheer  mister business, watch the grinch, cause that's where i got this fantastic idea from) That would be sooo coool!  anyway...OH p.s my friend's step mom made the kids lil gift bags for each day til Christmas instead of an advent calendar. how mint is that. so jealous. booo!.

24 days left...

okay. So. its DECEMBER 1st! Do you know what that means?!?!?! eh eh eh! that thats right!!!!! you got it!!!! 24 more days til christmas:):). So, Last year I remember i was super busy in December working and such and didn't get to do much winter/christmas festive things. THEREFORE, everyday this month or atleast until Christmas I am going to do something wintery/christmasy each day:). For example. Tomorrow me and my dad are going to put the village under the christmas tree and basically its gonna look like a miniature town under my tree, kinda like the movie grinch where they have their own little town in a snowflake except mine isnt in a snowflake its under my tree and its way BETTER than Whoville:) That means I have done something wintery/christmasy:) Geeze I'm brilliant:) So to give you guys a lil sneak peek I will explain some of the things that I am hoping/going to be doing! here we goooo.... Build a snowman, have a snowball fight, go see christmas lights, eat a candy cane(which i have already done like 3 times in the last 2 days but you cant have enough of those ya kno brahh;), hmmm ummm bake christmas cookies, go skating(I hope), go caroling(how fun would that be eh??!), make a snow fort, make a snow angel, watch christmas movies(national lampoons christmas vacation is one of the good ones if you wanan have a laugh attack OH and home alone) Oh and I cant believe i almost forgot. Ellens 12 Days of Giveaways!!!!! but i wont count that for all 12 days, thats just a must watch of course:)

busy bee

ive been a busy bee and havent posted in a whiiiiileeee. ive been busy with lots of school stuff, and my sister came in town this weekend, so i was busy with her as well! i got to put up the christmas tree :) which i am very excited for! all thats left is me and my dad have to set up the village that goes under the tree(its mintttttt), I got to watch my niece meet santa and she even sat on santas lap!!!(last year she was too scared) I got to see burlesque this weekend, which by the way is a must watch! soo good;) and i went out.. ya thats right. i went out! ya its been a while but it was because i had some friends in town from good ol' winnipeg!haha hmm what else has happend.... OH! my best friend has a new boyfriend, ya you heard right!! and hes even nice and cute! im happy for her she deserves it:) anywhooo enough with the sap. i had a pretty eventiful/ busy weekend but i guess thats what happends when its coming down to the nitty gritty of school and work! p.s its almost december 1st and you know what that means?!?!?! that means that my boyfriend will finally shave off his awful beard and mustache:):) cannot wait:):)

SO after a long day of school and work i got the chance to see the new movie that came out today called TANGLED! you know, the new Disney movie?!?! duhhh!!!! anyhow! it was soo magical i loved it so much it even brought tears to my eyes. Jessica sobbed(sorry jess) but basically it made me feel so warm inside.! OH and heres the best part! After the movie we came outside to more snow:) soo lovely:) oh and p.s I cannot wait until Christmas holidays, where I won't have to worry about another test or an assignment for a few weeks! thank goodness. anywhoo!

doing my research

So I've still been doing my research on wedding and event planning courses. And today I came across another course at a different school. Every time i look at the pamphlets i receive in my mail, I want to take this course more and more. This is something that Ive been interested in in a long time and I cant seem to forget about it or get away from it. What I'm in school for now i cant stand. Its not for me. its very boring and my brain cant handle it. It stresses me out, and the only reason I'm in it still is to not be a drop out and to not disappoint my family. Why is it that you never want to disappoint family? To me i feel because you have come really far with family and your family does so much for you so you wouldn't want to disappoint them. But when it comes to my course of what I'm in now I just cant take it anymore. And because I hate it so much my grades SUCK. And whats the fun in that?! I'm in a rutt and I'm not too sure on what to do. humph..

Sooooo yesturday after the parade me and Danielle went to Mamma Mia on Broadway! basically all ive got to say is that it was amazing! and that i wish it had never ended because i would have kept watching and watching!! At first I didnt like the girls voice who played sophie but then it grew on me. thank goodness! but yes it was amazing! I wish my mom could have watched it. she would have loved it. by the end of the show all the mothers and  grandmas were all dancing to the music and doing the dance moves the actors were doing! hehe soo fun!anywhooo OH! p.s i took pictures of the christmas float and the parade once i find my black berry cord to hook up to my computer ill put them up:)

Tale as Old as Time

So this morning at 9:30am Me and Evan(the boyfriend) waited in line for approximately 45 minutes to buy tickets for Beauty and the Beast on Broadway for myself, my sister and my mom! It did involve me missing class because the line was so long but thats okay:) I can't wait! I am very very excited:):) Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney movie:) p.s I'm going to see Harry Potter tonight:) just saying:) hehe

This weekend...

I am very excited for this weekend to come! why do you ask?! WELLL The Christmas Parade of course!!! and of course Harry Potter and of course Mamma Mia! But more excited for the Christmas Parade! I am in the parade for work, so i get to wave and say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to all the little girls and boys and see their huge smiles on their faces as they wait for Santa to arrive! It makes me happy that I get to be apart of it! I can't wait to put my christmas attire on! WOOOOOO! anyway, I am looking forward for this week to be over, so i can start my fun filled weekend!!

planner no more!

okay SO I am a planner. which basically in a definition, I plan things. like for example: If me and my friends go on a road trip, i make sure i have everything written out on paper from directions, to addresses, to gas stations etc. and that will be done a month prior to the trip, and that also includes intineraries for each day, and if it doesnt work out i go a little crazy in my mind and just wish that it would work out... but today i have decided that i am going to stop planning! that doesn't mean im going to stop ALL the planning, it just means that maybe when i go out with some friends I wont plan how we are getting home, maybe ill just GO WITH THE FLOW. I shall see how that works out:) I am a perfectionist as well. but im not ready to change that up yet. :)

Tonight i went bowling with my AMAZING sister(she made me write that) the boyfriend and my sisters friend. I was first to start bowling and i got a strike. after that it was alllll downhill from there. I think it was because when i got that strike on my first turn i think i turned a little cocky. But i still beat my sister so thats all that matters:) anywhoo the point of this post was that its SNOWING!!!! and I am very very excited. I do wish that it would snow everywhere else but the roads, because the roads are awful right now. I hope my friends get home safely from their little Duluth trip tomorrow! OH and the best part is that tonight, the snow is sticky! so it was perfect snow ball fight material!!! wooo! tonight was a gooooood night:) p.s Thanks Danielle:) (If you read this..hehe)

So today, Me and my sister went to starbucks today and I usually get a gingerbread latte this time of year (christmas in a cup) and decided i wanted something cold. So during the summertime i usually get a caramel frappucino, SO I asked the girl if I could have a frappucino with the gingerbread flavor and she was like of course!!! so then Im like okay then i will have a gingerbread frappucino please. So i get it and taste it and its sooooooooooooooooooo goooooood!! so now i have my christmas in a cup in a hot and cold form. this is the best day ever!!!:)

i feel like i got beat up.

I think i am getting sick. or i think i have something. I probably shouldn't say that but thats how i feel. (something you must know is i am a hypacondriact(spelling)which means when you think you have diseases or something when you don't. thats my life) ANYWAY. I feel like I have gotten beaten up literally. my bones aren't aching, my muscles aren't sore, it feels like my body has bruises everywhere and its making me go crazy. :( BLAH.

after school snack!

After going to an hour lecture that involved a guest speaker talking about... woah. i actually have no idea what he talked about.... thats actually very sad. I literally had to sit there and think of what he talked about, and I can't think of one thing. Well it was in my Entrepreneurship class so I guess thats what it was about. anywhoo. I walked home which by the way its super nice out today, and then came home and decided to have a little after school snack. I came to the decision of pretzel crisps and artichoke dip..mmmMmmm! Don't you miss coming home from school when you were little everyday at the same time and you would always have an after school snack. It was like the one thing you could eat before supper time. I remember I used to always eat fruit snacks or a fruit rollup. Yumm. Now I want one. 

10 things you now know about me.:)

Because I have started this lovely blog, I have decided to post 10 things about myself!:)

1. I love Disney, and one of my dreams came true. I got to do to Disney World. Heres a picture of me and Mickey dancing. no big deal or anything:)

2. My two favorite musical artists are Taylor Swift, and yes i will admitt it, the Jonas Brothers. I had the exciting pleasure on going to concerts for both of them:)

3. I HATE FEET. enough said. yuck

4. I love my family very much, they mean a lot to me. This is me and my niece Taylor<3

5. This past summer I have planned a few weddings for friends of friends of mine(if that makes sense) this is something that I would like to get into in the future as maybe a permanent job.

6. I like going to concerts and that is normally where all my money goes to during the summer time. I'll name the ones that I can remember off the top of my head:

The backstreet boys (X2), Taylor Swift, Kelly Pickler, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Hilary Duff, The Jonas Brothers, Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, and i may be forgetting others.

7. I am a huge musical lover. One day I hope to go to NYC and go see Broadway shows. I went to Toronto in January and got to see RENT ! The last tour before it went off Broadway. I was very excited and it was amazing!

8. I am a perfectionist. When it comes to things like assignments, decorating for parties, crafts anything and everything. It needs to be perfect.

9. I like to dress up. I love just going out to dinner with friends and dressing up. I like doing my hair and makeup all nice and wearing a cute skirt and top. 

10. FRIENDS. I have no idea what I would do without my friends. They are my rock. They keep me sane and I can go to them for anything. At the age that I am at now, I have discovered that you will find who your true friends are. i miss you

this will be my 3rd post tonight. well technically it is a new day because it is 1:02 am. I just got off the phone with one of my best friends who moved away this past year. I havent talked to him/heard his voice since the summer time. It felt so good just blabbing on and on with what he has missed throughout the months he's been away. One of the best things about him is he listens to every little thing you say. When your venting about something or even someone that bothers you so much, he always gives you the best feedback. I could talk to him for hours and hours and never get bored. I love and miss him very much. Hopefully he'll come home soon:)



Disney on Ice

For people who don't know me, I am a huge kid at heart. I am obssessed with Disney. My sister called me a bit ago asking me if I would want to go watch Disney on Ice. Without any hesitation, I of course said yes. There are a few different shows for Disney on Ice, and the one that we are going to is Mickey and Minnies Magical Journey. I am very excited and I can't wait for this day to come! My niece who is 3 will be coming too and she won't stop talking about it, and that's how I am too! oh to be a little kid all over again, that would be a dream come true!

My name is Tamara and I have come to the decision of starting a blog. My best friend blogs and I read it religiously. By reading her blog it has made me become curious on what all the comotion is about. What is so fun about putting your thoughts on the internet? But as I did research on other bloggers, it's more than that. It's writing about things in your life or that have impact in your life in someway that you can just let out. So I have decided I am going to be one on those bloggers and do just that.
