Wedding Idea Number ONE

For you all just checking in, every Friday I am going to Post a wedding idea. A wedding Idea that I have of my own, or a wedding idea that I have seen that I think is really neat. So here we go:)

Here is a center piece. I made this for a wedding in the summer.

NOTE: THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE JUST FOR A WEDDING. YOU COULD MAKE THIS FOR YOUR DINNER TABLE AT HOME OR COFFEE TABLE:)
You can use any colors, but with this theme the colors were green and black.

What you need:
A jar that is a decent size. You can find one at your local dollar store
Rocks/Pebbles You can find these at your local dollar store in little bundles. You can also go for a little walk and collect some that you find outside. Make sure you wash them well, and make sure they aren't too big.
Black Ribbon This ribbon can be found at your local craft store or department store.
Green Ribbon This ribbon can be found at your local craft store or department store as well.:)
Flower You can use a real flower or go to a craft store and buy an artificial flower.
Water
Glue Gun Find one at your local department store or craft store.

Directions:
1. Wash the jar and dry it well.
2. Measure your jar with the black ribbon and give it 2 cm of extra ribbon then cut it. Do the same thing with the green ribbon.
3. Use your hot glue gun and glue the black ribbon to the jar. put the glue only on the jar where the black ribbon starts. Now start rapping the ribbon tightly around the jar until it meets up with the other end of the ribbon. Take your glue gun and glue the other end to the jar.
4. Do the exact same thing with the green ribbon, except put it over the black ribbon.
5. Start adding your rocks into the jar
6. Pour water into your jar. Put enough water into it to touch the stem if you decide to use a real flower. If you are using an artificial flower, use enough water to cover the rocks,
7. Put the flower in. I would suggest a bigger flower that way it sits nicely on top of the jar.

And that is it! Hope you enjoy
